DATTCO Strengthens Regional Service and Fleet with Land/Jet Acquisition
Expansion strengthens service footprint, Creates New Jobs, modernizes fleet, and welcomes employees into the DATTCO team
New Britain, CT — March 26, 2026 — DATTCO, Inc., a third-generation, family-owned transportation provider based in New Britain, Connecticut, today announced the acquisition of Land/Jet, a well-established transportation company located in Watertown Connecticut.
This strategic move expands DATTCO’s presence in Western Connecticut and into New York, while reinforcing its commitment to safe, reliable, and community-focused transportation. The acquisition also supports continued investment in workforce development, fleet modernization, and regional economic growth.
Modernizing the Fleet and Enhancing the Customer Experience
As part of the acquisition, DATTCO will integrate Land/Jet’s fleet of ten buses. Half of the vehicles will be retired and replaced with newer models from DATTCO’s fleet, improving safety, reliability, and overall passenger experience.

Supporting a Smooth Transition
Since its start in 1983, with just two motor coaches, brothers Charles Brady, President, Tim Brady, Vice President and Dennis Brady, Secretary, have built Land/Jet, Inc. into a successful and trusted full-service family-run bus operation. The transition marks the culmination of 43 years of continuous leadership by the Brady family and honors a remarkable 90-year legacy in the bus industry spanning three generations. DATTCO is pleased that the Brady brothers will remain involved during the transition to ensure continuity for customers and employees. Tim Brady will join DATTCO as a foreman, supporting operations at the new location and helping maintain the high level of service Land/Jet customers expect.
