A Ride Through Time: DATTCO in the 1930s
As we journey through our 100th anniversary year, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to revisit some of DATTCO’s defining moments. Today, we’re setting our sights on the early 1930s!
This photograph features a classic transit bus manufactured by Mack, a company known today for their heavy-duty trucks. The scene takes place in New Britain, Connecticut, where the company, then known as MASTCO, operated several local routes. Interestingly, three of those routes are still part of our network today, running under our contract with CT Transit!
Can you imagine hopping on this historic bus? It’s a reminder of how far transportation has come, and how DATTCO has been a constant presence on the road, connecting communities for a century. Stay tuned for more glimpses into DATTCO’s past as we celebrate our 100th anniversary!
